Misa Nikolic is an artist and writer living in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. His art practice addresses the relationship between architecture and history, inspired by the critical writings of Walter Benjamin. First known for his hard-edge acrylic paintings, Misa began to pursue realism in his post-graduate work and has increasingly turned to oils, as well as photography.
In 2021 Misa completed a dissertation in art history on the historiography of political caricature. He is now teaching art history, fine art, and graphic design at the College of New Caledonia.
